The Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) plays a key role in shaping a high-quality, transparent, and accountable education and training system in Bahrain.
We start with a simple question:

For over a decade, BQA has worked across all levels of education and training to:

What We Do
We deliver our mandate through three core functions
Institutional Reviews
We evaluate the performance of education and training providers across various sectors:
- Kindergartens
- Government and Private Schools
- Vocational Training Institutes
- Higher Education Institutions
- Special Education Needs Institutions
National Examinations
We design and deliver national examinations that measure student achievement and help schools and stakeholders track progress.
National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
We manage Bahrain’s National Qualifications Framework (NQF) — a framework that classifies qualifications across levels, to help learners, employers, and providers understand the level and value of each qualification.
