BQA is committed to active engagement with various stakeholders to understand and address their needs by improving direct communication channels with all parties. The Authority involved related stakeholders in drafting the Schools Reviews Framework for the academic year 2023-2024, where BQA posted the draft pilot reviews framework on its website to provide the audience with the opportunity to submit their inquiries and suggestions regarding the draft framework through an electronic link. Additionally, the Authority held several virtual forums for school principals, parents, and students from both government and private schools to discuss their feedback and suggestions related to the reviews framework, and finally BQA implemented pilot reviews of the framework and collected school principals’ opinions and feedback on its effectiveness.
BQA also upon completing the onsite review process, sends an electronic questionnaire to school principals to gather their opinions on the review framework and processes, along with the draft review report.
As part of its commitment to capacity building, the Authority developed a training toolkit that includes the review handbooks and training presentations related to the evaluation and review process. These materials are available on the BQA website in both Arabic and English, and regularly updated.
Furthermore, the Authority places significant emphasis on the government application “Tawasul,” where BQA replies to inquiries from various stakeholders, and take their suggestions into considerations.
